Estudio Rua is a consultancy focused on mobility and street design tailored for Latin American cities. Our mission is to help revitalize cities through better street design and vital neighborhoods using transportation engineering, urban design and landscape architecture.
David Louis Uniman | FOUNDER
Transportation Engineer (MIT), City Planner (MIT) and Landscape Architect (Catolica de Chile) specializing in urban mobility and public spaces.
He has over 15 years experience spanning public, private and international agencies like the City of Bogota and County of San Francisco, the World Bank, Steer and Gehl Architects, and the World Resources Institute.
His work includes cycling infrastructure, green corridors, low-traffic neighborhoods, and Bus Rapid Transit systems. Through Estudio Rua, he brings a human-centered and implementation-oriented approach to urban design at the scale of streets and neighborhoods.
